As part of A Modest Show, the collateral programme to the British Art Show 9, this Open Studio event, supported by Islington Mill, is a celebration of a creative, culturally vibrant community that is firmly embedded within the local neighbourhood. The site is home to a heady cocktail of fine artists, illustrators, printmakers, textiles, ceramics, musicians, filmmakers, coffee roasters, curators, artist collectives, candle makers, performers, poets, bees (yes bees!) and more besides.

An exhibition displaying work produced by artists based in Unit’s 2 and 4 will be on display in the Unit 4 Gallery Site, curated by resident artist Owen Herbert.
